Welcoming the audience into
the twenty-first century, Live From The Sun by Dokken offers special affects and multiple
window views, giving the band's performance a new spin. Unlike the CD
version, this movie brings the energy of the band and their stage antics
onto your television or computer.
While the cover to the DVD
fails to mention "It's Not Love," and "The Hunter,"
the two tracks are included on the video, as well as additional tracks not
included on the CD version, "Paris is Burning" live and
"Will the Sun Rise" and "Walk Away" acoustic.
While the band has done
extensive touring since the release of their Erase the Slate CD and the
addition of guitarist Reb Beach, most fans are likely to have seen them
opening for Poison last summer. Thus, this is a great way to catch a full
set with hits encompassing their entire career, and interview footage that
doesn't disappoint, offering humor as well as the history of Dokken from
the beginning and hopes for the band's future.
