Based out of Memphis,
TN, Scott Sudbury is a heartland rocker with a bit of Butch Walker
and Matthew Sweet's songwriting charm thrown in for good measure.
Comparisons are easily drawn to the harder hitting material of John
Mellencamp. The stand out tracks on "Static On My Radio"
include "The Letting Go", "Long Way Home" and the excellent track
"Around". Off of "Get The Picture" my personal favorites
include "All I Want Is You", "Just Fine" and "Too Bad, So Sad".
Sudbury has the knack for writing songs with big hooks that lure you
right in.
While his heart is obviously in rock and roll, some of his
songwriting material suggests that he may have a few country music
crossover tracks up his sleeve and heading up the road to Nashville.
