2-song demo
release by New York City’s Red October. I received very little
information from this band, but their style is power-progressive
metal in the vein of early Fates Warning musically. This is most
noticeable on lead track “The New Chapter”. Their vocalist at times
wanders into James Rivera (Helstar, Destiny’s End, Seven Witches)
range on the 7-minute plus track “Misfortune”. It appears Red
October has a penchant for mid 80’s Metal Blade styled metal which
should bode well for future endeavors.
