Lost Forever is a 3 track demo from Finland's Lost Forever.
The songs feature both clean and growling male vocals and clean
female vocals. Musically, there are many dramatic elements
with tinges of gothic metal included. Comparisons could be
drawn to bands such as Leaves' Eyes, Elis and Lacuna Coil.
The guitars and keyboards mesh well together and the back end is
heavy enough to support the swirl of vocal harmonies and
instrumentation. All 3 songs on this demo are impressive,
but Cruel Fairytale stands out in my mind, although Lost Forever
would be an the obvious "single" so to speak. As I often
mention with underground bands, Miseria does themselves a favor
by recording 3 quality tracks as opposed to recording a full
disc and watering down the release.
