Meiche / For Ruin is a split CD of two differing bands with
interchangeable musicians. Their bio states that Meiche is
more black metal oriented while For Ruin is more melodic.
Both projects are very heavy with For Ruin getting the nod for
more intricate, melodic pieces. THe For Ruin instrumental
"Treading" is mellow with an aura of a black cloud hanging
overhead.
Meiche is much more aggressive and contributes a solid cover of
Celtic Frost's "Return To The Eve". "Sadistic Necrohell
Torture" even appears to have certain hints of Bathory musically
to go along with the black metal shrieks.
