Sebastian Bach’s Forever Wild DVD offers a
glimpse of his VH-1 television show along with live concert footage
of Bach & Friends. As a bonus, it offers some humorous commentary
and an interactive view of Bach’s recording career, both solo and
with Skid Row.
While this video footage of Bach’s solo career is a must for any
fan, it was disappointing to see that it is from so early in his
career. Those who have followed Sebastian from the early days of his
solo touring (through his first solo album, Broadway musicals, and
his television stardom) have watched his selection of musicians
improve and his band grow tighter. It’s a shame that aside from a
recent performance of “This is the Moment” from Jekyll & Hyde
performed on his Forever Wild tour, we are left with live footage
from a single raw performance at the Whiskey.
Don’t fret however, this single performance footage offers all your
favorites: “Youth Gone Wild,” “18 & Life,” “Monkey Business” and the
energy that Bach fans are accoustomed to. It also offers guest
appearance of Vince Neil and Ted Nugent from Forever Wild that are
good for a few laughs.
