Interrogate is the type of band that will work well for fans of
early Prong and perhaps later Pantera.
From Interrogate's band biography:
Interrogate was originally formed in 1998 by drummer
Stephen Brown and guitarist Mark Johnston in a small town called Castledawson in Northern Ireland. The band didn’t take things
seriously at first, until a near fatal accident involving the
drummer changed their outlook on things. Determined to bounce
back stronger, the drummer and guitar player set about writing
new material and recruiting new members, eager to set crowds
alight with their energetic dual-vocal brand of metal.
The first incarnation of Interrogate came to be in 2003. However
this was to be somewhat short lived, with the full line-up only
completing a handful of gigs. Interrogate would see out the
majority of 2003 without a full line-up, experiencing numerous
set-backs and became more determined than ever to succeed. All
their perseverance and dedication paid off, as Interrogate
finally completed their current and strongest line-up to date in
December of 2004.
2005 heralded the bands return to the live circuit. The band has
whipped crowds into a frenzy all over the country with their
uncompromising, no-holds-barred, explosive, hardcore brand of
metal and energetic live shows. The band have just released
their debut EP, titled “Unbroken”, showcasing their broad range
of styles and influences. Although mostly crushingly heavy,
hardcore & aggressive this is far from being a one-dimensional
release. You can hear them switch from ferocious dual-screaming,
crunching guitars and powerful double-kicking to more quiet,
mellow and melodic bass intros and soaring vocal harmonies with
plenty of tempo changes often leaving the listener not knowing
what to expect next! Interrogate is a band with something to
prove and one which will stop short of nothing to prove it!
