From Lost Souls Division biography:
The story of Lost Souls Division began in a much simpler
time than you or I live nowadays. About 11 years ago in the
upstairs spare bedroom of a 12 year old guitar player named
Chris Barrette, he and bassist Ted Robert would spend hours
playing Kiss and Stoned Temple Pilots tunes with the hopes of
one day adding to their lineup and actually forming a band. Not
long after, their prayers were answered in the form of a new
student - and aspiring drummer - named Kyle Warren. Kyle was a
soft spoken lad with music in his blood, and with 5 simple words
- "my favorite band is Megadeth" - the deal was sealed. Though
for reasons unknown (some refer to it as Van Halenism), Kyle and
Ted swapped their instruments and on they went...
The Name Game
Now clearly the opportunities in a bigger school would be
overwhelming, however, the group learned early on that they
don't alway's fall from the sky. But as fate, (and the alphabet)
would have it, it did not take long to find an avid fan of rock
and heavy metal named Chris Barresi, retrieving his class
information in the same alphabetized lineup as Barrette. The
singer and guitarist fit right in. They were now Lost Souls
Division and ready to kick the world in the balls...
The Ghosts of Our Time
Now, after a ton of fantastic shows with some amazing bands,
opprtunities to grace the stage with some of our heroes and
party with some great people, LSD are poised to make a name for
themselves in the lacking world of true, honest Heavy Metal and
Hard Rock. The upcoming release of the debut album, "Ghosts Of
Our Time", and the newly found relationship with up and coming
producer Daniel Angotti promises to bring bigger and better
things as time goes on...
